“I was always tired from the moment I woke up to the time I dragged myself into bed. Often I’d ache for a nap but wouldn’t be able to take one. I felt like I was thinking through a fog. I couldn’t focus, I forgot things just moments after hearing them. My stomach was always upset and I couldn’t lose weight no matter how much I exercised or dieted. My allergies were crazy and I was always congested. I was on daily meds for allergies and asthma. After seeing Dr. Peter, I have so much more energy! I am fully awake through the day and not napping at all. I’m in a much better mood and enjoying my life so much more. I am no longer on allergy or asthma meds. My quality of life has improved so much! My stomach has calmed down and doesn’t have problems as before. Thank you Dr. Peter!”
“Zaaz Whole Body Vibration Machine has been a wonderful addition to a healthy lifestyle. It has helped get me to a much higher level of health that I haven’t had in years. It is truly a miracle machine for great health.”
“I am a 77 year old great-grandmother who feels just great today! In a nut shell, Dr. Peter saved my sanity! My daughter-in-law brought me to Health Up Wellness approximately 6 weeks ago. I had given up on health and life. I was so unhappy, sick, and angry. I have always taken what I thought is excellent care of my health, but my doctors let me down! Whenever I complained about my pain in my back, they would send me to therapy, tell me to exercise, and to take an extra strength Tylenol. I’m on Coumadin for thinning the blood to avoid blood clots and can only take Tylenol for pain. I did not want to become addicted to Tylenol, so I avoided taking it as much as possible, and just endured the awful pain. My stomach was bloated like I was 7 or 8 months pregnant. I just felt sick all the time. I did not go any place. My overall appearance was as bad as the way I felt. When Dr. Peter told me that they cold get rid of my back pain, I could not believe it. But I was desperate to try anything that might help. They determined the method of supplement treatment for me and I woke up yesterday morning with no back pain since I was 14 years old!!! I called everyone I know and they were all equally happy for me!!! Some of them are coming to see Dr. Peter immediately!!! There is so much more I could tell you about me, but there just isn’t enough time or space for me to say it here.PLEASE BELIEVE ME, IF YOU HAVE HEATH PROBLEMS, GIVE YOURSELF A CHANCE. JUST COME AND SEE WHAT DR. PETER IS ALL ABOUT, YOU WON’T REGRET IT…I PROMISE YOU!!!”
Patient Story of Gall Blader Recovery with Dr. Theresa Peter
I would like to tell you about my experience working with Dr. Peter that helped me keep my gall bladder when my GP and specialist were suggesting I have it surgically removed. I will also explain how I was misdiagnosed and could not find any relief until I was introduced to Dr. Peter who helped me find my way back to health.
I had been struggling with a strange illness that would come over me quickly and make me violently ill. It started happening over two years ago. At first, my “episodes” as I called them, would happen only once in a while but as time went by they started happening more frequent. It happened most of the time when I was eating out, I would eat something like an appetizer of Lobster Bisque, or cheese and bread. Suddenly I would become nauseous, feel warm and start to sweat. I would get extremely tired, like I could close my eyes and fall asleep right there at the table. (In a restaurant, that was not possible.) I would excuse myself and head to the restroom where I would get violently ill until everything in my stomach was cleaned out. This entire process took about 20 minutes from start to finish. It was exhausting and embarrassing too.
It would take me a couple of days to recover from feeling weak and exhausted and I was stumped as to what was making me so sick. I tried removing a certain food, such as seafood, or white wine, and then it would happen again anyway. I could not seem to find the specific food that was the trigger. I was looking at this reaction as if it was a specific food allergy.
I mentioned this at my GP visit and he said it was probably acid reflux and to take Prilosec before I was going to have a big dinner or evening out. So I tried that and it seemed to work for a few months but then I had another “episode.” I was back to square one.
So I went back to my GP and he wanted me to have a test done. It was an ultrasound of my gall bladder. So I scheduled the test and afterwards my GP wanted me to see a specialist he recommended and get his feedback on the test. The test results stated that I had a number of gall stones.
During this time, I went to dinner with my tap class friends and one of them pulled out some white tablets and told me they were her enzymes she has to take to help her digest her food. I asked her a bunch of questions about this and found out she had a similar experience of having food make her very ill in a short period of time. She recommended I go see her doctor, Dr. Theresa Peter, and told me lots information about her and the work she does.
I scheduled an appointment, filled out my health history sheets and met her for an extensive first meeting. She assured me that there are many things to try before resorting to surgery. So I started on my supplements. I went back to the specialist and told him I would like to try working with my “Nutritionist” for 6 months and then see if there is any improvement before resorting to the surgery. So I kept on my program and had my follow up test done 6 months later. To my surprise, I only had one gall stone left showing in my gall bladder! Dr. Peter suggestions for supplements had cleared up almost all of my gall stones. If was amazing! We kept using the supplements and I was able to learn about what was triggering my “episodes”. Once I knew what foods to be careful of (fats and fried foods), then I could start eating out and not have episodes. Both my new supplements and my new eating habits have stopped the “episodes” from occurring entirely. On occasion, I have been able to reintroduce these foods back into my diet and not have any issues! I have avoided an expensive and unnecessary surgery and continue to improve and feel better. I have Dr. Peter to thank for all of this.
Lack of Energy/Digestive Issues/Hair loss
“I spent years desperately trying to find answers to my crippling lack of energy, digestive issues and hair loss. In my very first visit, Dr. Peter was able to give me answers where countless other “expert” doctors could not. I have my life back now (and my hair). Forever grateful to Dr. Peter. She’s the best!”

Dr Theresa Peter is a tremendous healer with a keen scientific mind. I count myself as most fortunate to be among her patients.
When I realized that I would have to undergo chemo a few years ago, after finding a wonderful oncologist who understood naturopathic medicine, I scheduled sessions with Dr. Peter right along with my chemo sessions. I saw her shortly after each session so we could help my body cope with not only the chemical toxicity but also with processing the massive amounts of newly dead cells flooding my system. Then, during the part of the cycle when your body is allowed to recuperate just enough to withstand another chemo session, I would see Dr Peter
again so we could optimize whatever recuperation my body was capable of at that time.
Following this protocol, I kind of sailed through my treatments. I had been terrified at the prospect and tried to prepare myself for the worst but it never came. I’m not saying it was fun!
But, I kept waiting for the really terrible stuff to start and it didn’t.
The chemo protocol I was given was not as harsh as many other protocols are but it still results in massive hair loss like clockwork on days 17-21 after one begins treatment but I didn’t even need to wear my wig in public until I was almost through my 4th month. If I paced myself, I was able to perform many parts of my usual work without people realizing that I was even in treatment. About halfway through my course of treatment, the oncology nurses, who were all wonderful, started commenting on how well I was doing and sometimes provided little explanations as to why they thought I was sailing thru, such as; what a great attitude I seemed to have or how strong my support system was.
And those were all true. I worked hard on my attitude, gave my body plenty of time to heal and had a fantastic support team around me. And Dr Peter was a key part of that team. My oncologist led the charge against the cancer while Dr Peter led the charge to protect and maintain my body. She and my oncologist were like co-quarterbacks!
This was all a few years ago and I continue to do well today. I still contend with some consequences of having had chemo but with Dr Peter in my corner I feel confident in our ability to stay on top of and manage whatever develops. I am unspeakably grateful to have had her to walk alongside me during this journey.
